An excerpt from How I Met Your Mother : Desperation Day
Marshall: I miss my Dad, Ted. I miss him so much. When I was a kid, we would spend the summers in the upper peninsula and every year we would only get to the cabin until the middle of the night. So, it’d be pitch black, in the middle of the woods and I could never see anything in front of the headlights. But I always felt so safe, because my Dad was driving. He was like some sort of superhero, he could just see way out into the darkness… And now he’s just gone, and it’s pitch black, and I can’t see where I’m going. I can’t see anything.
Have you ever felt that way, that you can’t see anything and everything is pitch black? sometimes I feel that way. I feel that I’m walking in the dark and I can’t see anything in front of me, and that’s really makes me scared. I’m afraid of my own future because I don’t know what would happen next.
Marvin Eriksen Sr.: Here’s a secret: I couldn’t see worth a damn either buddy. I just kept driving forward, hoping for the best…Look Out! heh heh gotcha
Yeah… maybe that’s what I should do.. just moving forward and hoping for the best…
try not to stumble
keep walking forward….

You are not alone. Most of us feel the same way but it helps to just be positive and hope that tomorrow would be better than today. Life is full of surprises. It’s like a Russian Roulette. Great post.
